Don’t report crashes in the contact list editor
Actually, don’t even open the thing, you’ve got no business in there 😛

Today’s binary is up. You’ll notice two things:
1) The change log is huge. Big, important stuff has been happening.
2) A lot is broken. Contact list editing, contact alerts, and the status menu plugin, to name just a few. These problems are temporary, and we don’t need bug reports on them.
No binaries were going up during this transitional stage, but I’ve received numerous requests for one… so enjoy your daily dose of alpha software. 🙂
There will be no binary for at least a day or two, and CVS is currently broken. The changes Adam has been working on for a couple weeks are almost fully in place and are very exciting. 🙂
On a side note, away messages and profiles will filter properly through such things as the iTunes integration plugin when our regularly scheduled programming returns.
I’ve been working on a large update to how the contact list is handled internally within Adium for a while now… Hopefully the changes will go up on friday 🙂
These internal changes should lead the way towards a new contact list editor, performance improvements, and fixes to several issues that have been around for a while now. I’ll have more details when the changes go up.
Yiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaa!!!
Happy new year to all!!!
I wish a superb new year to all Adium users, developers, contributors and specially the fearless leader Adam Iser and his fearless duck breeder Laura Natcher!!!
I love you all!
P.D.: that I wrote this while being completely drunk after the new year’s party is not conflicting with my true feelings expressed above… whatever Adium r0x0r!!!
A quick note. Creating new groups for a MSN account in the current contact list editor is not working properly, nor moving a MSN contact to a previously created AIM group. Great things are coming that will fix all these issues (they may appear with other protocols as well), just have patience!
